How to Build a Language Learning Hub in Notion?

Feel fancy and want to build your own language learning hub in notion? This tutorial will show you how to create a language learning system

Step 1: Set Up Your Workspace

  1. Create a new page in Notion by clicking the "+ New" button.
  2. Name the page "Language Learning" and select a cover image that represents language learning (you can use the search feature to find suitable images).
  3. Add emojis to categorize your languages, such as 🇯🇵 for Japanese, 🇫🇷 for French, and 🇩🇪 for German.
  4. Add an icon representing languages, such as 🌍, to the general workspace area.
  5. Add a "Cover" block to your page and choose an image related to language learning to make the page visually appealing.

Step 2: Create Nested Pages and Use Shortcuts

  1. Create a "Japanese" nested page by typing /page and then selecting "Japanese." Add a cover image and relevant emojis.
  2. Similarly, create nested pages for "French" and "German" languages.
  3. Inside each nested page, add headers for various sections using shortcuts. For example, type ## Easy Japanese to create a heading for study resources.
  4. Use toggle lists (>) to create collapsible sections for grammar notes, phrases, and more. Use shortcuts such as `` for bullet points and /**/ for italics.

Step 3: Add Resources

  1. Create a "Resources" nested page using the /page command.

  1. Create an "Activity Tracker" nested page using the /board command.
